Yesterday Tara and I went t a local shop to look for treasures ! I found this old book Lavender and Old Lace , Author Myrtle Reed Copyright 1902. I paid $3.00 for this gem. You can see from the pictures that it has been a much loved and read book! You can barely see the title on the the front it is so worn. I love old books and often come upon some from time to time. Well I guess I will sit back drink my coffee and read...this will be my first of many times I will open the fragile pages of this much loved book.
